Preparation...

• Configure the Bios for AHCI for sata

When installing...

• Single User at the boot prompt
• Wait around for it to ask about running the installer or not and when it prompts, hit i to initiate the installer
• Just use defaults for everything through the install

After the install

• default username and password for the web interface
  • admin
  • pfsense
